FAQ

Enrollment & Payment

Our course “SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (TS410)” is mostly the basis for most areas in the SAP environment and is best suited for newcomers. The course also has the advantage that, due to the cooperation with SAP University Alliances, the SAP certification exam at SAP SE can be taken at a reduced price afterwards.

Enrollment in our courses is possible on a continuous basis and is not linked to other semester dates. After receiving your access data, you can work on the SAP system for 5 months. However, it is important that you are enrolled at a university at all times during the processing period and also at the time of the SAP exam.

If you decide to enroll in one of our courses, it will take about a week until you receive your login details from us. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact our service desk or support.

Only properly enrolled students may participate in our course. This also applies to guest and secondary students as well as academic students. Due to the rules of SAP UA, we can only accept enrolled students for the program, therefore you also need a current certificate of study. Without it, we will have to cancel your registration. However, if you were still enrolled in a course while enrolling, and you complete your studies during the course, you can still take the certification exam on SAP UA terms up to three months after graduation (or exmatriculation). However, you cannot start a new course after exmatriculation.

Yes, this is possible. You only have to indicate your home university when registering and send us the study certificate of the host university in addition to the one of your home university.

If you are permanently studying at a foreign university, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.

The prices of our respective courses are all noted on our course overview page and are also shown on the respective course pages. Except for the advertised prices, there are no additional costs. We always try to keep our prices as affordable and student-friendly as possible. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Pricing example SAP ERP TS410:

  • University certificate of attendance (without SAP exam & certificate): 299€.
  • University certificate of attendance & official SAP exam & SAP certificate: 449€.

No, this is not possible. However, to accommodate you, we offer all courses semester-independent & flexible.

Crediting of the courses

We would like to pass on the following regulations to you:

At the University of Duisburg-Essen: Yes, the SAP certificate (TS410) can generally be credited here:
For example, in the Bachelor of Business Information Systems with 3CP and in the Master with 6CP as an e-course. For further information please contact us or get in touch with your examination office.

At other universities: Yes, in principle a crediting of SAP certificates is possible. However, please contact your responsible examination office and ask there. In case of doubt, please refer to us.

All other courses cannot be credited at the moment. But we are working on it.

No, you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete all case studies and, for example, a consultant certificate from SAP if you pass the TS410 exam.

Course content & modalities

Detailed course descriptions as well as the respective contents of the courses can be found on our course overview page as well as on the respective pages for a specific course.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

We do not offer the TERP10 certificate because there is no reason for students to certify for a product that is already being phased out. In the near future, the old Business Suite (TERP10) will no longer be supported by SAP and consequently will be phased out. Therefore we strongly advise you to take the newer & current certificate TS410.

If you are unsure whether your previous knowledge is sufficient, it is best to consult with the program management. In general, the TS410 course is intended for SAP beginners and provides a solid foundation for further certifications.

Our courses are not only a good basis for computer scientists, business information scientists and business economists, but also for other specialist areas. In general, ERP systems such as those of SAP have a wide range of applications and now form the central component of every company. Therefore, our courses address a wide range of disciplines and provide enrichment for almost any resume.

No, We Learn in Bits only offers pure e-learning courses.

A total of 150-180 hours of workload is planned for completing the TS410 course and preparing for the SAP exam. This corresponds to a course of 6 credit points. How you divide up this time is up to you. Note, however, that the practical work must be completed before the end of the course.

All further information about the workload of our courses can be found on our course overview page.

SAP exam questions

Students can still take the certification exam on UA terms up to three months after graduation (or exmatriculation). However, a new course cannot be started after exmatriculation.

The exam contains 80 questions and lasts approximately 180 minutes. You must answer at least 60 of the questions correctly to pass the exam. You will find out immediately after the exam whether you have passed. In the exam all topics of the case studies are asked by multiple choice and weighted differently. For example, the topic area “Financial Accounting” could be weighted with more than 12 of the questions and the topic area “Warehouse Management” could be weighted with less than 8 of the questions. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you exactly how the individual topics will be weighted in your case.

If you have any further questions regarding the SAP exam, we will be happy to help you.

Our case studies cover the theoretical background and the practical implementation of this background. The theoretical part prepares you for the exam in terms of content and subject matter. No additional literature is required.
At the beginning of each chapter, the theoretical part is presented first, which is relevant for the exam. This is followed by practice-oriented case studies which must be successfully completed for our certificate of attendance. The sum of all theory chapters must be studied in order to be sufficiently prepared for the SAP exam. In addition, there is the possibility to prepare in the training camp.

Students can take the exam separately from the course at a later date. It is always important that you are enrolled at a university at the time of the exam. After receiving the access data from SAP, you have one year to take your exam.

You can retake the exam twice, i.e. you can take the exam three times. If you take the exam again through us, you will of course only have to pay the price for the SAP exam. We pass this on to you unchanged from SAP, i.e. 99€ plus VAT, a total of 117.81€.

Please note: You must be registered as a student at the time of each exam.

If you have completed all the case studies and want to register for the SAP exam, please submit a request in our help portal under the “SAP Exam and Certificate of Attendance” section. We will then do a final check to see if you have satisfactorily completed all the tasks and submissions. If this is the case, we will issue you the certificate of attendance and start the registration for the official SAP exam.

Please note the following:

We will check the solution of the case studies based on your submissions in the system. The status in Moodle (tick or no tick) is not relevant. It is only necessary to make sure that you document your results there again.

The SAP exam takes place online. You can decide flexibly when you want to take it.

For the exam you need a webcam, a microphone, a suitable operating system (Windows or macOS), an up-to-date browser and, above all, a stable Internet connection. You will also need memory (approx. 50 MB) to install the Questionmark Secure program.

You can test your components for suitability using the following link:

You must be registered as a student at the time of the exam.
